Ibach were one of the few German manufacturers who remained independent of the DDR, and continued handmaking extraordinarily good pianos in Germany until the mid 2000s

This piano was made in the 1990s and has hardly been used since new. It only has extremely minimal signs of usage on the action and plays and feels like a new piano

The action in this piano is made by Renner and is virtually identical to the actions used in Bosendorfer pianos the same age

The bass on this piano is phenomenal, and the treble is incredibly rich and sonorous all the way up to the top note. Tonally this piano is very similar to a Bosendorfer, with slightly more warmth

At £10,000 this piano offers a very similar level of performance, tone and handmade German refinement but at a quarter of the price.
